Atlas Copco has acquired the assets of THN Druckluft and Produktions GmbH & Co.KG (THN) and also acquired the technology and operating assets of iTrap.
THN, located in the city of Erkelenz, Germany, mainly serves industrial customers and currently has approximately fifteen employees.
The iTrap is an ion trap mass spectrometer instrument capable of highly sensitive real time gas analysis and is used for diagnostics or process controls in semiconductor process chambers.
Located in Oberkochen, southern Germany, iTrap has been part of ZEISS Venture. A few employees will now join Atlas Copco.
