Atlas Copco Group has acquired Michigan, US-based Air Way.
Unveiled today (4th Nov), the purchase of will see Air Way become part of Atlas Copco’s motor vehicle industry tools and assembly systems division within the Industrial Technique business area.
Air Way is a supplier of automated bolt feeding solutions to the automotive and general industries and has 98 employees. During 2023, the company had revenues of around $35m.
Henrik Elmin, President of Atlas Copco’s Industrial Technique business area, said, “This acquisition complements one of our recent acquisitions and will further strengthen Industrial Technique’s offering in the area of automation.”
The purchase price was not disclosed.
