Atlas Copco Compressors has appointed Sanjeev Sharma as President and General Manager, succeeding Robert Eshleman who has retired after 18 years with the company.
Effective 1st September, Sharma’s new role will oversee Atlas Copco Compressors’ customer centre in the US and will be responsible for the segment’s sales, marketing, and service operations.
He brings over 28 years of experience in various management positions within Atlas Copco to the role and therefore knows the business and its technology very well.
Prior to taking on his role as President and General Manager, Sharma served as regional general manager of Atlas Copco Services Middle East.
He has also held various other roles within Atlas Copco during his time with the company, ranging from business manager for oil and gas, to product marketing manager.
Vagner Rego, President and CEO of Atlas Copco, welcomed Sharma to his new role. “We’re excited to have his expertise, experience, and leadership,” he said.

Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area provides industrial compressors, vacuum solutions, gas and process compressors and expanders, air and gas treatment equipment, and air management systems.
