Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of Compressed Air Systems, a North Carolina-based distributor of compressors.
Detailing the transaction today (14th June), Atlas Copco said Compressed Air Systems is privately owned and currently has 30 employees.
Commenting on the deal, Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique, said, “Compressed Air System has a strong service business and a very knowledgeable team.”
“North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia are areas with good growth potential and the acquisition will enable us to reach our goal to get closer to customers.”
