Areva H2Gen, a technology provider specialising in hydrogen (H2) production, has inaugurated the first ever plant in France dedicated to manufacturing electrolysers.
Located in Les Ulis near Paris, the plant will manufacture the latest generation of electrolysers to produce H2 for France’s booming fuel cell vehicle (FCV) market.
The new facility will be able to produce around 30 electrolysers each year in a total site surface area of 2,800m2, including a large unit space to produce stacks for electrolyser integration.
