Sustainable energy company Amogy will supply its ammonia-to-power technology to two Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) to be built by consultancy company Green Ships AS (Green Ships) in partnership with offshore shipping firm Bourbon Horizon.
Equipped with a background in the design of energy efficient and zero emission vessels, Green Ships has helped design a range of offshore vessels, Ropax ferries, cruise ships, CSOV vessels and other vessels.
The two new ePSVs – with an agreed-upon option for a third – will be managed by Bourbon Horizon, which currently owns and operates seven offshore vessels and is a joint venture between Bourbon Group and Horizon Maritime.
