American Welding & Gas, Inc. (AWG), an independent manufacturer and distributor of industrial gases and welding supplies, has welcomed a new Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Supply Chain Management.
The US-based company said it has long realised the Chicago area is an important user of its products and services and it is investing in new resources and personnel as a commitment to that market.
Mike Maxey, a 23-year veteran of the industry, joins the AWG team as the company’s new Vice President of Sales and will focus on building the brand and developing new partnerships in the Chicago area.
Speaking about the appointment, a spokesperson from AWG said, “We are excited to add to his talents and believe under his leadership AWG will provide premier customer care with innovative solutions to gas supply.”
