North Carolina-based industrial gas distributor American Welding & Gas (AWG) has appointed Michael Crambes as Vice-President of Business Development.
Within his role, Crambes will be accountable for acquisitions and distributor relationships, reemphasising AWG’s ability to be an independent peer option in protecting legacies and people.
Crambes brings over 40 years of experience in the industrial gas business to AWG, having previously worked for several distributors.
His career started in Fresno, California, working for an independent distributor, which was then purchased by one of the majors. Here, he grew in increasingly responsible roles with his new employer. After leaving that position in 2012, Michael worked for two more independent distributors, leading their industrial gas businesses.
