Air Products & Chemicals, supplier of specialty gases and performance materials, announced this week that it has acquired all shares of its joint venture in China, Air Products Shanfeng.
Aiming to focus its investment in the Chinese market, the Air Products Shanfeng joint venture is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air Products and the company changed the name of the entity to Air Products & Chemicals (Changzhou) Co.
The joint venture had originally been formed in 2005 between chemical supplier Changzhou Shanfeng Chemical Industry Co. and the US industrial gases giant.
