Airgas have announced that they have completed the purchase of Kanox Inc., a distributor of packaged gases and welding hardgoods.
Airgas, who first made the announcement in March, have now completed the acquisition of all outstanding stock from private shareholders and have begun to operate out of two regional companies as of today.
The acquired business comprises of around 120 people and generated about $23 million in revenues in its 2004 financial year.
Airgas Mid south is responsible for six Kanox locations in Hutchinson, Wichita, Dodge City, Garden City and Salina in Kansas, and El Reno just outside Oklahoma City. The three branches in Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado, have been integrated with Airgas Intermountain.
