Airgas achieves 2025 Military Friendly® gold recognition

Airgas has been awarded gold level recognition on the 2025 Military Friendly® Employers list for the third consecutive year.

The recognition follows three years of the Air Liquide company receiving silver level designation on the annually published list by VIQTORY.

Companies recognised on the Military Friendly® employers list are evaluated using both public data sources and survey responses.

Final ratings are determined by combining survey scores with an assessment of the company’s ability to meet thresholds for recruitment, new hire retention, employee turnover, and promotion and advancement of veterans and military employees.

Stamy Paul, Senior Vice-President of Human Resources Airgas, said that Airgas currently employs around 1,200 veterans, who hold a variety of roles within all divisions and business units at Airgas.

“We are honoured to be awarded with the gold level designation for 2025 by Military Friendly®, as hiring and retaining veterans is important to Airgas given the skills, values and overall leadership characteristics of veterans learned while tenured with their military service.”

Earlier this year, Airgas was recognised for both its company culture and diversity, having been featured on two prominent Newsweek lists. The was recognised on both America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2023 and America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2024 lists.
