Air Water (AWI) announced that it has reached an agreement with Nishimura Kikai Co on making Nishimura Kikai an AWI wholly owned subsidiary company.
Bringing Nishimura Kikai under its umbrella will allow AWI to expand its line-up of medical equipment and also allow AWI to enhance the services it offers to hospitals.
The agreement enables AWI to expand its medical business by adding expertise in cardiovascular and dialysis equipment and systems to its portfolio of strategic products. The company will also use that expertise to complement its piping installation, medical equipment, medical gases, SPD and other products and thereby enhance its comprehensive medical services for hospitals in the Kyoto and the surrounding region.
The company’s expectations of the agreement are generation of significant synergies in the medical business, access new networks and increase the number of experienced specialists on its staff.
