INOX Air Products Ltd has officially opened its Air Separation Unit in Jharkhand, India.
India’s leading industrial gas company – a 50:50 joint venture between INOX Group of India and Air Products & Chemicals of the United States – has officially opened its 1250 tpd Air Separation Unit (ASU) at Steel Authority India Ltd’s (SAIL) Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP).
The ASU facility boasts one of the world’s largest storage capacities of 5000 tons of oxygen, 3000 tons of nitrogen, and 500 tons of argon.
It was completed over a period of 24 months and being the largest ASU in the SAIL stable, it is expected to improve the quality of product and reduce raw material input cost for BSP.
