Air Products will showcase its Cleanfire® oxy-fuel burner solutions at the 80th Conference on Glass Problems in Columbus, Ohio, on 28th-29th October (2019).
At the event, Air Products will showcase its latest innovations in the company’s line of Cleanfire oxy-burner technologies, which help glass manufacturers increase glass production, reduce fuel consumption, improve glass quality and reduce emissions.
Dr. Michael Gallagher, Senior Principle Research Engineer for Combustion Technology Development at Air Products will host a presentation on the Tuesday of the event titled “Synchronised Oxy-fuel Boost Burners for Zero-Port Performance Optimisation in Float Glass Melting Furnaces” as part of the conference’s Melting and Combustion Technical Session.
In his presentation, Gallagher will discuss an advanced burner technology that is capable of automatically adjusting flame properties in float glass melting furnaces to maximise oxy-fuel performance benefits.
