Air Products will showcase how its industrial gases and technologies can help companies to increase efficiency and lower overall costs in iron and steel making at AISTech 2021.
In addition to hosting a booth at the convention, Air Products will also support the AIST Foundation, which funds initiatives to promote the steel industry as a viable and rewarding career choice for young engineers.
As part of this effort, the industrial gas giant has pledged to donate $100 to the Foundation – up to $15,000 in all – for each registered attendee who views the Air Products virtual profile and adds Air Products to their favourites list for the conference.
Focusing on oxygen in steelmaking, Air Products will today (29th June) present a technical paper on bottom stirring technology in the oxygen steelmaking session.
