Global engineering company Worley will provide procurement, fabrication, and modularisation services for Air Products’ Net Zero hydrogen energy complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Under terms of the contract, Worley will fabricate and assemble process and pipe rack modules at its Edmonton modularisation yard, using automated pipe-cutting techniques and robotic welding.
Worley’s Edmonton modularisation yard is located adjacent to the Air Products site.
First unveiled in 2021, Air Products’ multi-billion-dollar Net Zero hydrogen energy complex will help refining and petrochemical customers reduce the carbon intensity of their energy products and improve their sustainability performance.
