The company was named one of the top three most attractive employers in the chemical industry and top 100 most attractive employers overall, as well as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) role model.
The two employer recognitions were bestowed upon Air Products by a group of Chinese university students majoring in natural sciences. In an annual Chinese Student Survey conducted by Universum, a global talent company specialising in employer branding in China, Air Products was selected as one of the top three most attractive employers in the chemical industry for the first time, and top 100 most attractive employers overall for the fifth consecutive year, leaping 47 positions from last year. The survey also revealed that, in the eyes of China’s post-95s talent, the company is highly associated with ‘commitment to diversity and inclusion’, ‘innovation’ and ‘enabling me to integrate personal interests in my schedule.’
This year, approximately 80,000 students in a variety of fields from 110 top universities across the country participated in the survey, with 152,328 individual evaluations of 233 employers.
In addition, Air products received the CSR role model honour for its good public image and outstanding community outreach efforts at the 6th China Finance Summit which was held on 19th-20th July in Beijing.
