Air Products is keeping to its strong commitment in Asia by placing its next top global electronics manager in Taiwan.
The newly named head of the electronics division, Corning Painter, will lead the business from his base in Taiwan and hold a position of regional vice president of Asia electronics.
According to the gases company Asia is its largest and fastest growing region for electronics, and says “it makes sense for the business leader to be situated there.”
Other Air Products’ Electronics recent changes involve boosting research and development (R&D) presence in Asia with expanded R&D centres in Taiwan and Korea.
