Air Products has brought three oxygen generators onstream to supply additional gaseous oxygen to fiberglass manufacturer China Jushi, as part of two long-term contracts signed in December 2019 and July 2020.
The company’s PRISM® vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) oxygen generators will provide oxygen to support Jushi’s Intelligent Manufacturing bases in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province and Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China respectively.
Announced today, the latest contracts and facilities strengthen Air Products’ longstanding position to support Jushi, who will use the oxygen in its glass melting process to enhance environmental performance, energy efficiency and product quality.
Jushi’s Intelligent Manufacturing Bases are equipped with technology and equipment for the green manufacturing of high-end products. Air Products’ oxygen generators, which are integrated into Jushi’s oxygen pipelines, supply reliable and economic gas to the Tongxiang project’s second production line capable of producing 150,000 tonnes of fibreglass annually and the first production line of the 250,000 tonne per year Chengu project.
