Air Products commissioned a liquid oxygen tank, transfer vessel and transfer system sequence in record time for the Government of Kerala in India in the fight against coronavirus (Covid-19).
The Government of Kerala asked Air Products’ Kochi Industrial Gas complex for help with its emergency preparedness by ensuring a readiness of liquid oxygen, should there be an increase in demand from hospitals.
“In response, our Kochi team commissioned a liquid oxygen tank (Capacity – 50 m3 | 65 metric tonnes) along with transfer vessel and a transfer system sequence – all within a week,” Air Products said in a LinkedIn post.
“We are proud of our team for achieving this with utmost concern towards safety, speed and being an essential service provider to our community. We stand together.”
