Air Products and the National Institute of Clean-and-Low-Carbon Energy (NICE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that outlays a collaborative effort to potentially work together on hydrogen fuelling projects in China.
The MOU was signed by representatives of both companies during a ceremony at the opening of NICE America Research, Inc. in California.
NICE is a research and development (R&D) institute affiliated with the Shenhua Group of Beijing (China), and has been devoted to the research and development of hydrogen technologies. The organisation is interested in developing the hydrogen refuelling business in China with major global partners.
As such, Air Products comfortably meets this criteria, having extensive hydrogen fuelling experience in the US and globally, and as the largest hydrogen supplier in the world. Air Products also has a leading global position in the hydrogen fuelling and infrastructure market.
