Air Liquide has increased the prices of both liquid and gaseous forms of argon by up to 20 per cent.
The prices increases took effect on July 1, and may be even higher in certain instances where previous discounts are eliminated and existing National Surcharges are revised.
The rises are consistent with the terms and conditions of its customer supply agreements.
Pascal Vincet, president of Air Liquide Industrial U.S. LP, explained the reason for the increases.
