Tier One company, Air Liquide, has reinforced its position in China after inaugurating its new Shanghai Research and Technology Centre (SRTC) and celebrating the 20-year anniversary of its engineering and construction facilities in Hangzhou.
The inauguration of the SRTC, located in the Shanghai Xinzhuang Industrial Park, took place on 25th February 2016, and will become a major centre for the group’s innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.
We are extremely pleased to simultaneously celebrate these two events in Shanghai and in Hangzhou, illustrating commitment to grow in China over the long term.
Air Liquide has invested around €25m ($27.5m) in the new site, which will address energy transition, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions reduction, waste water treatment, urban air quality, food safety and healthcare for its North Pacific rim customers.
