Air Liquide has strengthened its healthcare offering, having today (9th April) announced the acquisition of two homecare businesses in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The industrial gas giant has not unveiled the names of the entities but says that they support 10,000 patients living with respiratory insufficiency, sleep apnea syndrome, or requiring infusion or nutrition treatments.
With a turnover of more than €10m in 2023, the businesses are supported by around 50 employees who have joined Air Liquide.
Diana Schillag, Member of Air Liquide’s Executive Committee in charge of Healthcare, Sustainable Development, and Procurement, said she is delighted to strengthen the company’s position in the growing marketplace.
