Industrial gas major Air Liquide has started 2023 with a ‘very solid performance’, according to CEO Francois Jackow.
Citing higher growth in Q1 of 2023 in comparison to Q4 of 2022, the company revealed that its Group sales increased by 6.2% on a comparable basis, after growth of 4.5% in Q4.
“Sales were up by 4.2% year-over-year, integrating in particular the decline in energy prices, whose variations are passed on to Large Industries customers,” said Jackow.
Revenue reached €7.2bn ($7.9bn), including €6.9bn ($7.6bn) for the Gas & Services business.
