Air Liquide will help fund the Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) in the US in support of students pursuing preferred science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) degrees.
FOSSI is a national programme focused on eliminating financial barriers to higher education, recognising, and rewarding demonstrated achievement and fostering the future potential of students in the communities in which Air Liquide operates.
The group joins more than 70 industry peers who, since FOSSI’s inception in 2020, have raised nearly $30m for the benefit of 595 STEM scholars.
In support of the group, the industrial gas giant has made its commitment to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) as it seeks to advance diversity within industry and manufacturing.
