Air Liquide India has confirmed its decision to set up a new packaged gas filling centre in Chandigarh, Punjab, India.
The industrial gas giant has said the new centre will enhance its footprint in the North of India and better serve its local customers.
According to gasworld’s Business Intelligence, Air Liquide currently operates seven air separation units, nine nitrogen generators and one hydrogen plant in India.
Air Liquide India now operates with more than 1,000 employees, and in 2019, generated revenues of approximately $132m in India.
