Air Liquide is set to mark the completion of a major upgrade to its industrial complex in Bayport, Texas, with a luncheon and inuaguration ceremony on April 27.
The world-scale industrial complex is located in the Bayport Industrial District, east of Houston. Redevelopment was first announced in 2013 and completed in February.
Total investment in the project topped $230 million, and among the upgraded assets were four energy-efficient cogeneration units, which now give the facility the ability to put out 300 mW of electricity and 1,300 tph of steam. An ASU and other infrastructure was also upgraded and expanded.
