Industrial gases major Air Liquide has emphasised its opportunities flowing from the US Inflation Reduction Act clean-energy incentives, while acknowledging the complexity that attaches to delivering large-scale projects.
On its full-year earnings calls this week, Air Liquide CEO François Jackow said the company was well-positioned in the US to pick the best projects, courtesy of “being number-one in the industrial gas market with an extensive pipeline network.”
Jackow added, “Additionally, our in-house technologies are very well adapted to the specificities of the projects in the US.”
Mike Graff, Chairman of Air Liquide Holdings, was also on the call and said there was “enormous potential” in decarbonisation projects in the US, and particularly on the US Gulf Coast, since the Inflation Reduction Act was confirmed in 2022.
