Air Liquide has completed the first phase of construction on its 25MW hydrogen electrolyser plants located in the Science Parks of Tainan and Hsinchu, Taiwan.
Part of a €200m investment announced in April 2020, the plants will produce up to 5,000 Nm3 of ultra-high purity hydrogen per hour.
Hydrogen produced by the units will serve the semiconductor market and emerging energy applications in Taiwan.
With phase one now complete, Air Liquide will continue construction of its Phase 2 to Phase 5 hydrogen electrolyser plants in Taiwan over the next two years for a total capacity of 25MW.
