Air Liquide Italy has signed a ten-year agreememt, with an option for a further five, for the renewal of the supply of oxygen and nitrogen to Sarlux’s refinery in Cagliari.
The Oxygen and Nitrogen produced by Air Liquide’s air separation plants in the Sardinian petrochemical complex will be transported, via underground pipes, to the Sarlux IGCC plant, for a total production capacity of approximately 4,600 tonnes-per-day (tpd).
The contract renewal seals a partnership that has seen the two companies collaborate successfully for more than 30 years.
