It’s with great sadness that gasworld has to report the recent passing of Dr P.L. Bhatia, former president and founder of the All India Industrial Gases Manufacturers Association (AIIGMA).
In a brief message recently received from the association, AIIGMA noted, “We are deeply grieved to inform you of the sad demise of Dr. P L Bhatia on 13th March 2008. Dr Bhatia was the founder member of All India Industrial Gases Manufacturers Association and initiated the entire process of forming the Association.”
Dr Bhatia was the president of the association during 1988-89 as nominee of Uttam Air Products Pvt. Ltd and gasworld would like to send its deepest sympathy to both the Bhatia family, and all involved with AIIGMA.
