AGC Instruments, based in Ireland, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year as a leading manufacturer of total gas analysis solutions.
The company was originally established in July 1965 to manufacture detectors (TCD) and entry-level gas chromatographs for the European market.
Through natural development, the company extended these products into complete gas chromatograph and gas analyser solutions to meet the need of an expanding market sector.
Following a management buyout in 2006, the company embarked upon an expansion process which culminated in the acquisition of a new headquarters in 2010 in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility. The new factory, overlooking Shannon International Airport, offers all-year-round accessibility for customers worldwide – with all manufacturing and R&D all under one roof, it has enabled the company to focus on new product lines and new applications.
