Team Afrox is the name, motor-racing is the game. South Africa’s leading industrial gas and welding products supplier, Afrox, is the title sponsor of the newly formed ADF Motorsport racing team – and the company will be proudly displaying this racing relationship at the gasworld African Conference 2008.
As well as sponsoring a promotional space at the conference and sending a number of delegates to attend, Afrox will also exclusively parade one of its sleek and brightly liveried BMW 330i production racing cars at the event, gasworld announces.
Attentive attendees of the ground-breaking conference will be able to see the Team Afrox campaign sponsorship close-up and the attractive BMW 330i model, as driven by former Class A champions Anthony Taylor and Etienne van der Linde.
The sponsorship is seen as an example of the way in which gas companies in Africa are using commercial opportunities to grow and promote their product or enterprise, enhancing market leadership positions in the process. This correlates with the overall theme of the gasworld African conference, to address the many challenges that the region faces both now and in the future.
