Kelington Group subsidiary Ace Gases has begun liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) production at a second plant in Kerteh, Malaysia.
With an annual production capacity of 70,000 Metric Tonnes (MT), the RM45 million ($9.53 million) plant increases total liquid CO2 capacity to 120,000 MT per year and total production capacity to 355 tonnes per day (TPD). The existing plant (P1) was operating at more than 80% capacity.
“The growth of the industrial gases business is expected to provide Kelington Group with stable recurring income,” according to a statement.
