2024 has been a landmark year for LogiCO2, the global leader in CO2 gas detection systems, marked by significant leadership changes and innovative product developments. In an exclusive interview, Ross Olsen, Business Manager for the US and Canada, reflected on the company’s milestones and shared insights into the evolving landscape of CO2 safety.
The most significant moment of the year? The retirement of Bo Hansen, LogiCO2’s founder, who revolutionised CO2 safety since establishing the company in 1996. Hansen’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives has left a legacy that Olsen and the new leadership team-Kristoffer Eklund Cuestas, Petter Odenhall, and Olsen himself—are eager to build upon.
“The world owes Bo a debt of gratitude and his commitment to CO2 safety for anybody who’s exposed to CO2 has just been unwavering, and we thank him for that,” Olsen said. “The next generation, Kristoffer, Petter and myself. We’ll continue with that commitment to safety and education and training to make sure that anywhere that CO2 is located or can accumulate that there is CO2 gas detection equipment to keep the public in the employee safe.”
