ADNRITZ AG, a global supplier of plants and services for the hydropower, pulp and paper, metals and other specialised industries, recently announced several key changes to its Executive Board.
Firstly, Executive Board member of 11 years, Franz Hofmann will retire from 31st March 2011. This move will see his responsibility for the metals and environment & process business areas end. Wolfgang Semper will fill the vacancy created. However his area of responsibility will be Hydro business and Automation on a Group-wide level. 52 year old Semper is a graduate of mechanical engineering and has successfully headed the ‘Large Hydro’ division of the Hydro sector for ANDRITZ.
Friedrich Papst will share the load in terms of Hydro, but in addition Papst will look after Feed & Biofuel areas as well as the Metals sector. Meanwhile, Humbert Köfler will add to his remit over the Service and Units segment of the Pulp and Paper business by assuming the additional responsibility of the Environment & Process sector.
Despite these alterations, the division of responsibility between President and CEO, Wolfgang Leitner and Executive Board member, Karl Hornhofer, will remain unchanged.
