“I think a lot of people – including our own employees – would say we put safety first. But really, I think we put people first,” explained Kathleen Harris, President of Harris Industrial Gases (Harris).
In 1936, Harold Harris founded Harris Welding Works, and for the past 82 years, the business has remained in the Harris family, owned and operated through four generations. Originally just one shop, Harris Industrial Gases now boasts three locations in California and one in Nevada.
Jeremy Lawson is currently the Purchasing Agent and Safety Coordinator for the business and has been actively engaged in management at multiple locations for 11 years.
