Multinational conglomerate company 3M has teamed up with British Columbia-based Svante Technologies to develop and produce carbon dioxide (CO2) removal products.
Specifically, the duo will develop material that can trap CO2 in the atmosphere and permanently remove it.
News of the collaboration follows 3M Ventures, the venture capital arm of 3M, participating in Svante’s Series E funding round, which raised $318m.
