Every year is a busy year for the world’s largest industrial gas company and 2023 has been no exception. From expanding its range of lower carbon products and broadening its focus on green hydrogen production, to signing major deals and supporting the growth in semiconductor manufacturing capacity, Linde has been involved in a diverse array of projects and new agreements.
For the first of our ’12 Days of Content’ series, we spoke to Sean Durbin, Executive Vice President North America, who discussed Linde’s year so far, its focus on sustainability and the company’s plans for 2024.
Thank you for taking the time to talk to gasworld today. Why don’t you start off by telling us what 2023 has been like for Linde?
Our employees have really delivered for our customers this year. Because industrial gases are critical to processes across such a diverse range of end markets, our customer base faces a wide range of challenges. We’ve been working hard every day to understand their needs, support their growth, and enable them to achieve their productivity and sustainability goals. In addition, the continued safe and reliable supply to our customers remains vital, and we are dedicated to earning and maintaining the trust that our customers have in us.
