US-based gas technology specialist PDC Machines (PDC) has signed a deal to supply Norwegian hydrogen filling station company Hynion with compressor technology, a move that will help refuel dozens of trucks per day.
Located in Västerås and Jönköping, Sweden, the stations will integrate two PDC compressors for each station, enabling delivery of hydrogen at both 35 and 70 MPa (megapascals) for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
Seeing the partnership as the start of an ‘ambitious, long-term collaboration’, Ulf Hafseld, CEO, Hynion, said, “Good dialogue, good products, and good service are important to us.”
“The stations must deliver around the clock, and reliable compressors are indeed critical in this respect.”
