In an industry where safety is paramount, oxygen equipment manufacturers and suppliers now have the option of adopting a new oxygen equipment supplier certification program, introduced eight months ago.
The program is headed by the engineering specialist WHA International Inc, which is in charge of the program to support manufacturers and suppliers to demonstrate compliance with safety standards for oxygen systems.
“Oxygen equipment suppliers have to consider many quality factors to accommodate different customer applications,” says WHA CEO Gwenael Chiffoleau. “However, most have similar requirements for oxygen: suppliers need to demonstrate that they can produce functional, clean, and compatible equipment.”
