Nothing ever stands still, so this is a challenge that Luxfer Gas Cylinders often finds itself facing as the industry continues to expand and evolve. “We have lots of new applications today for which we have to develop standards,” Bill Mezher, Composite Technology and Innovation Manager at Luxfer Gas Cylinders, tells gasworld. “If the standards don’t exist, they must be made.”
For the North American side of the business, a lot of this work is carried out at Luxfer’s US headquarters and composite cylinder plant in Riverside, California, as well as at its nearby cylinder plant in Pomona, California, and in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. At all three sites, the company has capacity for onsite testing and a skilled team.
