Managing a business with multiple assets and a growing customer base can be challenging, especially when demand surges. In response, Maine Oxy, headquartered in Auburn, has expanded its Naugatuck gas fill plant and restructured its senior management to better handle these challenges.
Management has recently shifted within the company, with Kelly Gentry, Chief Operations and Safety Officer, now heading Maine Oxy alongside her brothers, Will and Jason Gentry. The trio purchased all company shares in 2022, marking a new era of family-led management.
“My brothers and I are equal partners, and we make all the company decisions together,” Kelly Gentry tells gasworld. “As owners, we want to keep the business name strong, grow our footprint and market share, and invest in our people.”
