Nearly 25,000 visitors and exhibitors from the microelectronics industry once more converged on the Moscone Center in San Francisco in July for SEMICON West 2015 and Intersolar North America 2015.
The annual show is the must-attend event of the year in the US electronics business, and so it proved yet again as every aspect of the microelectronics supply chain was thrust into the spotlight.
This year’s event focused on the most critical issues facing the future of semiconductor manufacturing, building on 2014’s theme of Sustainability Meets Innovation. In addition to the exposition of over 650 exhibitors, SEMICON West 2015 featured over 180 total hours of programs — including free technical, applications and business programs, as well as an extensive line-up of exclusive programs.
Almost 25,000 visitors and exhibitors attended the exposition and events between July 14-16, with international interest in the show continuing to increase, representing around 15 percent of total visitors.
