After more than a century of trading, Earlbeck Gases has undergone a transition at the top in recent years, with Allison Earlbeck taking over from her father. Christian Annesley caught up with Earlbeck to explore her priorities and the shape of the business for 2023 and beyond
Earlbeck Gases and Technologies opened its doors in 1919. So it has been in the business of welding supplies and services for Pennsylvania and Maryland since welding’s big expansion during and after the First World War.
That really is quite a heritage to boast. But companies and their leaders aren’t much in the business of looking back. These days the company is in some ways the same as it ever was, but it is also substantially different, as its current leader, Allison Earlbeck, is at pains to explain when gasworld sits down with her.
