In business, you have to be more competitive than ever to survive.  Since the cost to deliver cylinders is three to five times more than the cost to fill cylinders, a competitive distributor needs an efficient delivery operation. Distributors can make more deliveries in a work day by minimizing or eliminating wasted or lost time, such as time spent in traffic delays or along inefficient routes, but delivery changes must be achieved without sacrificing service to customers.

The distribution process needs to be managed from contract signing through delivery and payment, utilizing technology where appropriate. In between these two points, operational, distribution, and customer service processes are engaged.
