First established in 1930 by Kenneth T Norris, Norris Cylinder, is one of the largest manufacturers of high- and low-pressure steel and acetylene cylinders. For more than 70 years, the company has provided quality cylinders and services to the industrial gas industry.
Norris Cylinder, a TriMas Company, aims to manufacture the highest quality products used for the transporting and dispensing of compressed gases, while exceeding customer expectations for value and service.
Before it turned its focus to cylinders and the industrial gas market, one of Norris’ first customers was Ford Motor Company, as the company manufactured bumper parts for the Model A cars. Then as Norris Industries grew over the years, there was significant expansion into many more products and industries, all with one common core competency – metal fabrication. It was in the 1950s when compressed gas cylinders were added to the Norris Industries product line.
