What do the industrial gases majors have on their plates as the new year arrives? A huge amount, as you would expect, and it is worth examining some of their priorities to see what it tells us about the direction of travel for the wider industry, and particularly when it comes to innovation and new opportunities.
We’ll confine ourselves to looking at three listed giants in industrial gases – Air Liquide, Linde, and Air Products. Broadly, we might say that Linde and Air Products are somewhat beleaguered right now for different reasons, while Air Liquide is projecting a more positive outlook. But all three have a huge amount going on and plans aplenty.
