The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has formed a new entity, the CGA Certification Board LLC (CGACB), to offer certification services for industrial and medical gases industry personnel.
The CGA is an ANSI-accredited standards development organization with a library of over 340 publications on the safe use of industrial and medical gases. It works with code and regulatory officials to advocate for the advancement of industry safety, and its publications are incorporated by reference in numerous regulations and model codes. We caught up with Rich Gottwald, the CGA’s President and CEO, to learn more about its new certification program.
